SAAL Photo book product review

You will see from an earlier blog, I did a product review for SAAL Wall Decor. After receiving my 50 x 50 Alu Dibond picture, which has been so well received by SAAL and fellow photographers, I just had to test the Photo book for future business. Yet again, SAAL does not disappoint. I decided to go for a 30 page 28 x 19 Photobook, Matte inside, gloss outside. Firstly you need to download the application to be able to create your book. Downloading the application was very simple and quick. It took about 5 minutes for me to work my way around. Using the application is simple. You can use the pre-prepared page templates that SAAL offer, however, I opted to create my own page templates, again this was simple and very user friendly.
I have been using another firm for my wedding books and the whole process can take some time. So I thought it would be interesting to time myself, and it actually took me 30 minutes less time to create my book than it normally would. This is wonderful!!
Now to the quality… I was excited to see the quality after choosing some of my most favourite wedding images… So the anticipation as I was opening the wonderfully packaged item was high and then…. Viola! The quality is exceptional, the paper used is of an extremely high quality and just felt amazing as you turned the pages… This is exactly how you want your bride and groom to feel when they are turning the pages in my opinion. Also what I love about my book, is that when you turn the pages, the book lays flat due to the weight of the paper.
Delivery/Shipping The turnaround from ordering my book to delivery was exceptionally fast. Approximately 2-3 days from ordering to delivery from Germany. This puts UK book providers to shame. I am sadly in my second week of waiting for a book I ordered from a UK provider, terrible really. So, overall a very happy photographer…. And it’s a huge 15 out of 10 from Helena Graham Photography. You’ve just won yourself a new client!
